Nuts
In general, nuts are a high source of vitamin E, antioxidants and protects against heart diseases. For example, a half cup of almonds contains double the human body need for vitamin E and calcium found in a cup of milk. As it is a source of folic acid and rich in potassium, iron and magnesium. As well as pistachios, rich in iron and calcium, and peanuts are also a huge source of the amino acid lysine needed to form protein.
But nuts lose their benefits and nutritional value if roasted and turns from an anti-oxidant food to an oxidant, since exposing them to high temperature affects their usefulness as they shift their existing beneficial oils to oxidative oils which causes damage to the body.
